A ?bubble? formed on my backhoe tire at work.when
I noticed it it was golf ball sized.after a days working
it it?s softball sized.can I run it that way,or replace it?
what can happen?never had this happen to me.

You banged into the sidewall pretty hard at sometime. Laminate seperations. 99% chance you are going to have a major blow out. New tire time. Kinda the same thing on garden tractor tubless tires. The sidewalls get pores after many years and just don't hold air. You can stick a tube in. You have a bigger problem. Let us see what others think.
This sidewall video.

It?s a railroad backhoe, yes it gets banged around crossing tracks.up and down embankments.occupational hazard with what I do.i will replace it tomorrow

I had a new recap tire in the spare tire rake on a Mack, the bubble grew to basketball size, then it blew out.

I had one like that come up on my 1550 Oliver gas back in the Winter noticed it while I was feeding cows brought it back over to the house parked the tractor got about 20 ft away
before it went off KaBoom. Thankfully no fluid in it.If you're on a hillside when it blows it could turn you over.

I had a bubble appear on my work truck one time. I was home when I found it and was going to try to drive it seven miles to the tire store the next morning but during the night the tire blew while sitting parked.
