We picked up a large project in New Mexico, I will be traveling back and forth there most of the next year.

My wife and I lived there for four years after getting married 27 years ago, a lot of good memories.

I enjoy it quite a bit down there id like to make another trip down there went down last time to pick up a 12 row potato row marker

We visited friends in Datil, NM on NM Highway 60, just east of Pietown (which is on the continental divide). 7400 foot elevation. Wife got altitude headaches every time we went there. You talk about the middle of nowhere! It's west of Sicorro, just past the VLA. (Very Large Array, a long line of radio telescopes erected by the federal government). Also an area of hardly any light pollution at night, a great place to star watch...

I worked for Raytheon in the 80's, spent a week near Las Cruces on a trip to the NASA tracking site. Saw roadrunners, porcupines, and jackrabbits and mountains that turned bright red at sunset. Beautiful desert. Also went to White Sands and the AFB nearby. Would have moved there in a heartbeat.
