That is why when I see certain things at the flea market I just buy them. Have most likely a dozen wrenches of 1/2-9/16. Probably ten 3/8 7/16 wrenches and so on. Just bought another Lincoln grease gun for ten bucks so now I must have eight of them. It had 1/4 of a tube left in it. When was the last time you have seen a real red rubber grease gun hose? They have several types of grease. Tan, clear, red, green, blue, and black. Just grab the correct gun for the job. If I can't find one here or there I can find another hither or yon. What burns you up, I bought a brandnew valve stem fish for installing tire tubes. Used it ONE time. Two days latter it is no where to be found. Ordered two of them on Ebay. When they arrive I will find the first one.

What is worse is the missing 3/8-7/16 box wrench. Working on the tractor and it is just plain gone! That afternoon you get on the tractor, start it up, put it in gear, then you look down the hood and there is the wrench laying in the groove between the hoods.

My experience is after buying the replacement, because I could not find the original, I use the replacement, very happy with it, and when I go to put the replacement up on the shelf ???? there's the original.

If I am looking for a phillips-head screwdriver all I see is flat blades. Ten minutes later I am looking for flat blade screwdrivers and all I find is phillips-heads.
