if you have a tubeless tire these work slick just pull out the old one or push it in, insert push through valve tighten the nut and air the tire up this one is for 5/8 hole but they make them in other sizes

That's a good idea, but my biggest valve stem problem has been breaking off the brass ones when brush cutting, so I would have to break the bead to get the inside piece out. I just replace them with rubber ones as I don'd run liquid ballast.
 
It would save a bunch of time when a rock takes off the stem in a planter transport wheel. I will have to get a few to have on hand.
 
also if your knocking stems off you can weld a short piece of pipe to the rim to protect the stem
