Hi, i have a 1964 ford 4000 with a loader.the front pump seal started leaking, once the pump was removed and the seal i noticed the brass bushing behind the seal looks like that is what pushed the seal out.before this the loader worked great.my question is are there any parts available for these cessna pumps? if not what is the best pump to install with the least modifications? thanks in advance

If it pushed seal out the bushing in pump housing had nothing to do with it. The reason pumps blow seals is because they are getting wornout or are over pressured. Mostly thrust plates and housing get tracked witch lets fluid bypass in pump witch cause over pressure on seal.

The last time I had to replace a Cessna loader pump, I would up getting a new Webster-Danfoss. It was much cheaper, but that was 4 years ago.
Same pump used on my 4000 Ford Industrial, my Case 580CK, My IH 3414 hoe-loader and my John Deere 350 crawler-loader. Webster made a direct
replacement for the Cessna 2 bolt SAE mount with a cast-iron housing instead of aluminum like the Cessna. Search around. Last one I bought
new was $240 which I consider a bargain. I got my Webster from www.hydraulicpumpstore but I don't see the one I got listed anymore. Surplus
Sales has new Cessnas but they cost near $500.

If the bushing moved toward the seal,it could cover a drain passage, trapping pressure behind the seal and push it out.

Thanks for all the info.i believe after looking at the shaft and bushing, the shaft has slight grooving and is tight on the brass bushing,i also found the rubber and gasket blown out which also probably caused the seal to blow out.if i could find the gaskets and seal i could have the shaft machined down and get an oversize brass bushing. i am having a hard time finding a direct replacement pump.
