Not much accommodation for the operator. I could
see that rig being handy in the bush hauling cord
wood or logs, but a slight shift in the load and the
driver could be crushed. Can?t help wondering what
purposes this rig was built for.
 
Given the size of the drive sprockets, it would really crawl (pun intended) along. The admittedly limited horse power of this Farmall A may not be too limiting.

I love it; a real head turner!
 
I'm thinking just the opposite. One turn of the drive sprocket would move the tractor less than half the distance of the original tractor tire.

By crawling I meant moving at a slow pace; so I agree with you, it will move at half or even just one third of the speed of the original tractor.
