I bought these fenders at an auction yesterday. the green ones are JD, but no idea of the model. 8 speed transmission, top speed 12.1 mph.
the red ones, I have no clue. anyone?

I'm about 95% certain those red fenders you have are from a 354, 424, 444, 454 IH tractor. They look pretty decent, how are they at the seams? You wouldn't want to sell them if they are decent would you? I'd have to go look at my 354 to be certain, but I'm sure those are the same fenders. Mine have really bad rust in between the seams, and are spreading apart, and rusting away right along that seam.

Ross, from a cursory look when I was loading and unloading them, I thought they looked quite solid. the seller dealt in smaller tractors the sizes you mentioned. yes, I would sell them. I came home with several sets of different brands of fenders in hopes that one set would fit on my Fordson Major.

The John Deere fenders are off an JD 850 or 950 compact tractor. The hand rail on top and the bubble style reinforcing are the clue.

RBoots has right I think -- the indent on one side is for the battery and the toolbox on the other side -- I have a 544 utility and they look close to it ! Roy

I can confirm that. The small panels that bolt on at the bottom of the fenders bolt onto the foot rests. If a ROPS is installed, that will raise the fenders a bit as the ROPS base goes between the fender mount and the axle, necessitating the adjustment.

Agree on the IH424 - I have a 2424 and they look just like mine. Did you get them at the Greene auction Saturday? How crowded was it?

Tim

yes, from Greene. there was a big crowd at the start, got smaller as the afternoon went by. the field was muddy as all get out.
