I found this part in the road by my mailbox. It is a rural road and numerous agricultural and road equipment loads pass by. I just cannot identify the part. The
numbers shown do not hit on the web and the tractor parts guy did not know. If anyone here has a clue, it would save me so much worry!!!

man I don't know what it is, buts sure enough a nice one
 
I don't know what it is but I want one. Looks like some kind of a clip to hold timber in place, on a trailer, scaffolding, or formwork.
 
its the piece of steel that is inside of a rubber track used on skidsteers & excavators. When the rubber gets old & worn out it breaks away & the machine starts shedding these along the trail. Might've fallen of a load of junk. Does have some handy uses.
 
Andy, interesting that you don?t know what it is yet you want one? Different strokes I guess. Of
course there are those types who like to spin a spoof on everything.
