Obviously he ain't got a clue. According to TractorData, the only Ford tractors made in 1950 was the 8N, and that tractor certainly came afterward. ...But a [b:3e85aa1807]910[/b:3e85aa1807]?!?!?

Looks to be a 740 row crop made between 1954-1957

That is either a 700/701/900/901 series 700/900 55 to 57 and 701/901 58 to 62 row crop tractors. Only ford made in 1950 was the 8N and there where 2 types of those the early front mount distributor and the latter side mount distributor.
Its a bit past your bed time isn't it LOL

Don't you just love the Alice Charmers with at best a rattle can restoration for 10x the going rate? Or the Farmall "I" because half the decal is gone?. Can't forget the 1975 John Deer B.
Those people are not worth your breath trying to explain it. They know everything. Just ask them.

Well I'd guess it to be a 950 or 960 looking at the gear shift, nose and fenders. Though could be a 7X0 also. But a 1950 it's not!

With the box blade and front weight box that is a steal!!! I would be on my way home with it if I were within 200 miles.

Regardless of what the sellers says or thinks it has no bearing on the value of the tractor one way or the other or what the tractor is or isn't.Just like at an auction take a look at it and buy what you see.

A 1 for the second number is a sos trans and we can see that is not the case.

But I?m sure each of you guys knows the model and year of every tractor ever built and have never made a mistake so you are justified in casting the first stone.

Could be it is a 1950?s 901.
