Wife was found to have bladder cancer. This all happened within the last couple weeks. I don't know what the doctor will find tomorrow. Any cancer is not good. Just wondering if any of your family members have gone through this? Stan

not bladder cancer but non smokers lung cancer. I hope for and pray your sake and hers it does not turn out like mine. the doctors thought it was only in my lower left lung. Had a total body pet scan and could not see it anywhere else. Surgeon went in to remove the lower portion of my left lung and found it was in my chest cavity also. Due to that they left the lung alone, had just spread there, powdered the inside with talc to stop it from having fluid there and put me back together. I will have my second chemo tomorrow but they do not give me much hope. God is in control for me and your wife. hopefully it is just in the bladder for her and they get it all.

Stan,

Hope all goes well for your wife. Prayers sent that it has not spread beyond the bladder... and I'll add her (and you), to my ongoing prayer list.

My Dad had bladder cancer. Doctors removed it three times... then it never came back. Dad lived another 35 years beyond that cancer diagnosis.

You have my prayers. I had bladder cancer, Mayo removed it three times in 2 years and then last year they removed my entire bladder and prostate. All seems fine now just a little change in life style. No cancer in the last recheck. It will work out. Jim

My brother had throat cancer several years ago. Chemo and radiation took care of that. Later he had lung cancer. Part of his lung removed, again chemo and radiation, and he was on the go again. 3 years ago was diagnosed with bladder cancer. They had to remove his bladder, and he now wears a colostomy bag. Last week he just put the motor back in his jeep after rebuilding it. Anything is possible. Good luck to you and your wife.

I recently read on the net that direct injections of pure vitamin C will kill cancer????? My doctor knows about it too.

Attitude is a large part to having a successful outcome. Be the best support system that you can be.
A co worker had bladder cancer. He got back to work and then retired in about a year. Last I knew all was good with him.

I am having surgery May 8th for an obstruction of scar tissue where the Doc hooked everything back up after removing my prostate in 2007. New Doc says they will need a biopsy to see if their is any cancer involved.

Prayers sent from here for a successful surgery healing hands for the surgeons and a speedy full recovery.

Have faith in the accredited medical fraternity Stan and things will work out for Momma. Reading some of the alternative "cures" (like the one on this very page today using dog de-wormer) are beyond belief but people fall for that stuff all the time. Good luck and report back as your family moves through these tough times.

My wife had bladder cancer a few years ago and her oncologist spent several months on therapies other than surgery. When nothing else worked they removed her bladder but fabricated a new one from intestine material and she has NO residual effects to day. No bag, no muss or fuss, and no cancer.

Prayers for you and your wife.

Prayers also from Central Fl. All can and will go well for you folks. A good friend in In. had the same thing and he beat it. Good Luck too You Folks. . Jack . The Old Scovy.

Yes. Someone named Walter B. posted about success with a family member that took 400k mg. per day. That's a lot, but what the heck, desperate times call for desperate measures.
