With these past couple of weeks it feels good to be in the shop. I have split the engine away from the I.H. 674 tractor and got the engine taken apart. I can say it is so nice to have a building to do the work in instead of a carport. This tractor I have is an example of a person who should had shut it down when it was knocking. Could not find number three piston Connecting rod. Found the piston on top of the cylinder and found the bottom peace of the connecting rod. Balancer is gone and the Crank shaft is bad. You might say it was a 239 diesel made in to a three cylinder engine. Going to restore the tractor already have a new/ used block for this engine.
