Farmall 656 axle shaft loose

Went to change my tire out on left rear and when I was jacking tractor up the axle shaft appeared to move in some and it started to leak a little hydraulic fluid, it has been stained from hydraulic fluid leak in past. I pulled cover off to look at bearing it looked fine. When I set tractor back on tire and all weight is off the axle the shaft move back in and it quiets leaking from seal. Tractor drives fine but I?m worried that my end play might be out of spec does anybody know what the specs are for a farmall 666 diesel

Is it not shimmed from the end cap with the seal and bearing race it it? If so just take the shims out snug lightly the cap measure the clearance with feeler gage and adjust shims. Will probably need a new seal to keep from leaking. Will need to mic the shims to get right amount in.
