Best method to attach duals to 10 bolt hubs?

I have used clamp on duals for years. Bought a pair of 10 bolt hubs and duals for my John Deere 4440. Hubs are on the axles. What methods do you use to get the 10 bolt duals bolted up to the 10 bolt hubs. Yes, I know it seems straight forward, but was wondering if there were little tricks people are using to make it easier. Thanks.

I took a 5 inch bolt and cut the head off and ground it to a point.Drive the tractor upon a six inch block and put the bolt in the hub but not at very top.Roll the tire up and line up the rim on the pointed bolt and push it on.Works for me anyway.

Jack up tractor to estimated height. Roll dual up against hub and readjust height. With a bar (steel fence post) under bottom edge of tire rotate dual until holes align. Easier if studs in hub.

Drive the tractor up on a block, trial and error will get you the desired height, then remember or mark the block for next time. A cut off bolt for an alignment pin would help also.

We use a fork lift after the tractor is on a block then adjust the tire to fit. Once on the hub center you can turn with a bar or post to align holes. The temporary stud deal would work pretty slick if you are working by hand.

I use a 2x4 instead of fence post, but the same as you. Mine are 9 bolt dusks, as they get bigger manhandling then around might get tougher...

Be careful, keep an escape path and let the dual flop over to a safe side if it over centers on you as you roll it around. I prefer working alone and everyone stay far
away, I find 2 people rolling a dual tend to fight each other and don?t know which way it starts leaning and flopping.....
