It makes me sad to think of cutting down those thousand year old trees. Where were those tree huggers then?

Hi Folks I think this photo was taken here in the UK. Firstly it looks like a coverterd single cab Leyland bus with the name of WARD under the drivers elbow. Up in North Yorkshire there is a company call Wards who have been very active in running a large timber operation and are well known for adapting trucks and tractors for getting the trees to the sawmill for many years. Nothing like warming your butt on a hot engine. Must be a previous load took the cab off and they didn't get
it quite centered when they set it back on.

Did you ever think the tree might have been dead when they cut it?
No point in letting it go to waste.

The tree huggers were probably hugging live trees, and had given up on the dead ones. That one has been dead for awhile, as the bark has fallen off.

I wonder if that truck was originally built
with a crane on it. I have seen some trucks
where the crane rests beside the cab.

The tree huggers hate to see trees cut but
they are filled with glee when they burn
and destroy homes and lives.

...Which requires even more trees and other resources in order to rebuild.
