John Deere 350 hay rake part needed

Just wondering if anyone would have the PTO shaft end that goes onto the rake. I need the yoke that has the shaft on it. It seems that the part is no longer available from mother Deere, so I will be dead in the water without it. I do have another rake to use but the 3 point one would sure be nice for traveling 3 miles to the other fields I have to put up. My email is open or you can give me a call at 740-992-2128. Thanks guys, keith

If you have a picture of the part I know an old guy who has tons of stuff. I could run by an see if he has it.

Measure the shaft and get a piece of shaft and get a new pto yoke and the half to fit the shaft and make one if it?s a somewhat common shaft a quick internet search shows all kinds of shaft options . Also mother Deere died well over a hundred years before her sons company thought of making a pto driven rake if you talked to her please let me know how you did there?s several people I?d like to speak to .

Do you know of the PTO stub on the rake is 1-1/8 x 6 spline? I?ve got one of these rakes and bought a speeco sleeve adapter for a try - just haven?t got to it and the rake is about 17 miles away, so I can?t run out and check. This adapter takes a 1-1/8 x 6 spline stub up to 1-3/8 x 6. Btw - bought it at TSC.

The piece the shaft goes in is the one I need. It does have a 6 spline female on the other side of the U joint. The shaft is about 1"x11/8". I'll try my local NAPA and see what yoke they can get me. They are about the only ones around here to get something like that from. Keith

Parts Dept shows to have 2 of the complete male shafts with yokes that attach to rake shaft. You must go through a participating equipment dealer to get parts from Parts Dept.

Is that a fully mounted 3 point rake or a pull type? If 3 point hitch then depending on tractor it is to be mounted on could require a different PTO shaft of a different length or even for a different speed or size of shaft on tractor.

After several calls and trying to match the yoke at 4 different dealerships with no one coming close. It is 1 1/2" across inside and the shaft is 3/4x7/8". I drilled it out with a 3/4" bit and squared it up to the dimensions I needed, I'm 1/64th off so I figure it will do what I need. John Deere dealer could get me a yoke but couldn't tell me what size shaft it will take or what the caps for the u-joint sizes are. Here in Ohio we are going to only 1 license plate so I'll be able to put my own on the front and I have the one for it "friends don't let Friends drive green and yellow tractors. Bridgeport John Deere is a big dealership but their parts counter people (women) have no clue what I needed even when I took it with me. Just sayin

Was rake built before or after 1960? I know you stated 3 pt but is rake a 3 pt or semi integral model. One u-joint kit that's utilized in several applications is AE793E with spec's of caps shown below
