John Deere model N manure spreader

I have a farmer down the road a bit who has a John Deere model N manure spreader. The beaters are driven by the pto, but the apron chain is ground driven. The arm that should be there to run the apron chain is missing. Do any of you know of a salvage yard that might have one of these, or any other place I could find one? Thanks. Looking for a spreader to do a little horse manure around here.

if I'm looking at correct parts there's an upper & lower arm. Parts Depot has shows to have 6 upper arms available & no lower arms. You must go through a participating equipment dealer to get parts from Parts Depot

JDfamily, this gentleman, Bill Doyle, 22769 483rd Ave., Flandreau SD 57028, deals in mostly ground driven JD spreaders and he will ship parts. However, 2 years ago I sold him 2 almost complete model N spreaders. I know for a fact that they both had that connecting rod to make the N apron PTO driven. Sorry, I do not have his number. I believe you are asking about part number 6. Best of Luck
Mike
