Mahindra 6000 stuck in reverse apart

Well I finally have the transmission apart and the reverse shiftier fork out. It has a snap ring you have to move an then 2 nuts you loosen on the pinion shaft and you have to press/tap the pinion shaft back slowly and remove the gears one at a time to get to the reverse fork but it is out as of about 30 minutes ago. I'll order parts tomorrow and then the fun of putting it back together will start.

First off no manual and even if I had the manual it does not tell you any thing. Next the snap ring is such that it is next to impossible to get to, to be able to move it. Then the lock nut set up and then having to press the pinion shaft out. To me not a very good way of engineering the drive train
