We loaded yesterday afternoon for this morning,I had a delivery time of 6. I left here just before 4:30,our road was really tricky, very foggy pitch dark and raining. It?s a narrow 1 lane side road ,muddy shoulders and the center lines worn off in many places. Thank goodness it?s a short road and the main highways great. It?s still single lane but has paved shoulders and reflective strips down the yellow line. Got there 15 minutes early as planned backed right in and unloaded back home for the day at 8:30 ,Happy Easter everyone!!!

Or the old phone trick kids used to pull ..... "Is your house on a bus route? If it is, then you better move it, there's a bus coming". Ha, crazy stuff, can you imagine kids today doing that?

I was hauling Dakotas for the farm I work for last week,I?m not sure the variety this week for a different farm. It?s a 2000 or somewhere close Peterbuilt with a 400 Cummins and a 13 spd hauling a 48? van trailer. They went to Cavendish Farms for processing into fries and or hash browns. There?s a belt the length of the trailer and there?s an angled floor above the sides of the conveyor. There?s 2x1? boards covering the conveyor so the belt doesn?t slip and you stand inside with a poker and keep pulling up boards and set them to the side as you unload. Some trailers have a variable speed insert and no planks to pull up.
