After 20 years got around to making some light wiring harness for the 4020 even set it up for a flashing light on the rear . I Used 12 gauge wire because I like to overbuild when I build . I was going to get harnesses from agri supply but they I built my own for a 1/3 rd their price and I had the fun of doing all the work myself

Good job. I strongly suggest you run dedicated grounds on those fenders. That will make a big difference in the brightness of the lights and even your success. Paul

4020 is just one of the few tractors that one never gets tired of fixing things on. Well worth it. Never heard too many "complaining" about working on one of them. What ever you do seems to double in value to what it cost you in the end.

I prefer to make my own harnesses too.

Unless going for show quality originality, I can make a harness that fits better and no wasted time guessing what is supposed to go where.

I like the black plastic split harness tubing. That with some tape, zip ties and metal straps can make for a neat and long lasting wiring harness.

Nice work! I like making my own wire harness too. Have a lot more to do. Give me a call and I will make a Sunday drive to bring you these plow parts! I could stop and visit with Bob on the way. He is our club President and he is working on some JDs and a Farmall in his shop.

That?s the nice thing about making your own harness you know exactly what does what because your the guy who built it and you can do all kinds of neat things I used the black plastic tubing and zip ties it really makes them look nice

I had not thought of that of that before now I always Just ran the light circuit as a two wire setup
