Honda 5013 tractor

Posted in garden tractor forum but not really sure it is a garden tractor. Anyone have one of these animals? Seems well built. Has 4wd 4 wheel steer. Pto, diff lock. Came with a dozer blade Fun to drive. If anyone has a good source of parts would be appreciated. Belts blades etc

Measure everything carefully and order online. Flail-master might have blades, The Big bearing store should have belts, I recommend Kevlar belts.

I didn?t think of that as I didn?t know Honda still made mowers. Thought just cars. Will check.

I would try a Honda power sport( cycles, atvs etc) dealer over a car dealer.

I saw one of those earlier today. I'd never seen one before. Local outdoor power equipment place has it. Guess they took it in on trade.

I have a Honda 4514 which is a riding mower, but I think has the same engine as you have. Mine has been a super machine. I bought it new in 91. Mine has a 38" deck so you will have different blades, but I have always gotten generic blades from a local lawn equipment place. Mine still has the original deck belt on it. It is getting kind of cracked so I bought a spare off ebay last summer. The main belt has only been replaced once and that was also an ebay item. Use a Kevlar belt.

I replaced the blade spindle bearings with ones from a local bearing supply about 12-15 years ago. They were a common size and on the shelf. Oil and air filters come from Honda. Could probably find an oil filter that crosses over, but the air filter is uniquely shaped so a Honda only item.

This year it had it's first failure. Starter quit. Brushes were worn out. Bought NOS Honda brushes off ebay for $13 and installed and it's all good again.

Hello there, I have this same tractor. I bought it about two years ago. So far it's been pretty good, I'm having some little issues with it stalling in the winter. I have some ideas on what to do about it. Other than that it mows great and blows snow like a beast! Only thing I have replaced on it is a bearing in the mower deck, once I found the size needed I just bought it at TSC. I own a Honda 5013 and am trying to do the electrical inspection/testing of the Combination Relay and Fuel Control Unit listed on pages 18-6 and 18-7 of the RT5000 Shop Manual. Do you have any experience with this electrical inspection/testing? Thank you.

Just saw a pic of an earlier model a couple of days ago. It's slated to be a future "Extra" Pic. The model I found the pic of is the Honda Mighty-13R. Best guess is it was made in the 70's or early 80's. Seems like Honda has been making similar such machines for several decades. That would strongly suggest that there will be parts out there well into the future, although you may have to resort to buying from an online source.

If I saw that for sale near me, it'd be mine!
