Old's Diamond T

I was down by lake of the Ozarks a few days ago, and saw this old Diamond T truck in front of a convenience store. I knew that it had to be Old's because it was so shiny. It has a couple Oliver crawlers on the back that he must have been delivering after repairing them for the owner.

I thought "Hummers" were 125s with magneto lights. 165s had batterys.

125's have batteries, and generators like the 165's. I am restoring a 48 125 now. Not sure when they started to be called hummers. Interesting fact. Since Germany lost the war, the US had access to their patents. The 125 is a copy of the German DKW small motorcycle. Harley Davidson thought a two stroke small motorcycle would do good. They didn't last much past the middle 50's Stan

You can tell the way things are parked that is not a pump canopie.
