What is the deal with the member map being frozen and wanting to charge to look at it now after a 100 views? Anybody else having this problem?

It appears the zee map site wants to charge per visit to host the map.
More than likely we'll never see it again.

Same business model as photobucket and other online services. Offer the use of the site for free until they have enough users, then throw the screws to them and hold the information hostage until they pay.

That's too bad, I liked looking at it, even though it was very incomplete. We could just put our zip code on our handle!

I liked looking at it comparing the number of people using this site in the different countries. Also liked seeing where some people lived in relation to me.

Looks like it depends on what link you use to get to it.

Neverfear I had it bookmarked and it was not working. It shows the little bookmark deal is highlighted when I use the link you posted up. And it works. So I wonder why my bookmark doesn't?

yes--my old link didn't work to get on--the new link posted below worked--and then my old link worked again?

Not sure, I had the same result as you at first from a bookmark I had. Then I searched google for YTmember map and was able to make it work. Guess I'll delete the old bookmark and make a new one from that.
