Depending on which day you go... it's ONLY 16,17 or 18 days to Le Sueur... wooo-hoooo!!! Gonna find me something rusty to buy. Has to be small, cannot carry anything heavy yet.

Was just thinking that must be coming up soon, so is my wedding anniversary.

Can make that place a little complicated to visit........

Paul

Nope. I fractured the top end of my humerus of left arm in January. Still working on regaining full range of motion. Just got to add some light strenthening exercises this week... but still not supposed to try anything very heavy.

Improving... but taking a while for sure.

Bring wifey along... and buy her a momento there! Then take her out to eat on the way home. :)

Yeah... dooooo it, fixerupper.

They have golf carts you can rent... but call ahead (just google Pioneer Powere Swap Meet for info) or they might all be rented out. Just thinking of your upcoming knee surgery... it is A LOT of ground to walk.

Have been there several times. One year it rained for several hours before the event and during it. Guys were having a great time pulling motorhomes out when they got stuck with their antique tractors. Anyone remember that???

Lets see Paul, tractors? wife-----tractors? wife. Kinda a no-brainer.
On another note. Is that John Hoffman auction the guy who got crushed from the corn head? Weather permitting, I'm planning on going tomorrow.

Wow, I was at Mages hay auction yesterday and Natt was very firm in his belief they would hold the auction as planned, said it?s a short auction very few small items should be over in 2 hours and he sure planned on having it on schedule.

But I see they did postpone it, common sense won out!

Yes, it is that Hoffman that got between the combine and the header. Bad deal. Was a tough day in the neighborhood, a few miles south of there the same day, a spreader fell on a young man off a jack and killed him also. Both families work where my wife does.

I don?t need anything from that auction, if it?s a nice day I might stop by tho. I was going to skip it if it were tomorrow.....

We have done that, and she likes Pizza Ranch can catch that in Le Suer.

But I probably can?t get by with that every year. ;) she?s a good one.

Thanks Sweet.
I knew it was coming up but didn't know when. We missed it last year.
I've still never been to the show in August there. I heard the Ford Fordson Collectors assn will hold their national meet there in 2020. Never been to one so will definitely get to that one.
Just started fixing up a tractor to bring.

If my friend didn?t take 2 weeks to get out there and back I would come to it maybe in 2 yrs I will have that kind of time

During the Aug show, there have been gatherings of YT folks at the south entrance to the fire hall, I think around the noon hour.

Would that work for the swap meet? Not sure if the fire hall is open during the swap meet, but it wouldn't have to be for a group of YT ers to gather there on the concrete apron.

If I go, I would do it Sat 27th.

Ron,
I believe YTer's at swap meet do meet at noon at the firehall (pretty sure it's the firehall)... on both Fri and Sat.

Only ever got my husband to stop one time... a few years ago... for like 5 minutes. :(

Thanks, Ron.

Can probably schedule that lunch with you and your wife for some Monday in May or June. Will email ya, after wr get power retored.

Ultradog,
Looking forward to the swap meet, for sure. It's one of our favorite things to do each year.

I have never been to the threshing show up there either. Husband went one time when I was gone to the lake.

I have been slowly loading my trailer getting ready! I can’t wait, it’s a great time! A lot to see, and have had a lot selling there also!

The last two years I have met the group at the Fire Hall. Great bunch of guys!
I hope to go, probably on Friday the 26th.

Don't know anything about where you are from and may be different here in Ohio. Here even if a sale is pending and owner dies they have to get courts permission to have the sale. How long that can take would depend on a lot of different factors. This could even include if there was a will or not and if in the will an exetor was named. Not just common sence but the law used in postponing the sale. That has happened in my area. The courts have to decide who if any one does have the rite to dispose of anything and how it is then to be done. Lucky to get that all done to have sale within 2 months minimum. A lot would depend on how much owner had done to get ready for sale before he died.
