Working The 2090

I spent a little (most of the afternoon) time with the 2090 and dozer blade levelling off the ground where they cleared bush last fall to build the bison fence. Cat left it rough and I want the ground smooth enough to eventually cut hay on. The bison came along to see what I was doing. Several times. No calves yet but any day now. Working on uploading a video to youtube but here is a still shot from inside the cab. Lighting was not great today with clouds blowing across the sun.

Rusty, if my windows were that clean, I wouldn't know what to do. Nice work on the level job.

Thanks. Still a lot of sticks and stumps to pick up and haul away or burn. And I'm still going to clean those windows.

Case had a pretty good quiet cab even 40 years ago. Of course I was only running at maybe 1200 rpm on that job.
Reviewing the video I am noticing all the rocking from side to side and wishing I'd had a more secure camera mount for the job.

That is a nice outfit you?ve got there. A friend of
mine has a dozer I am thinking about buying to on
the front of my 3020 . A dozer would sure be nice to
have around it would be handy to push snow going
forwards instead of reverse all the time

Yes, for sure a dozer blade is a great attachment for a farm tractor. I've got a smaller 7 foot blade on the old 730 Case. Also got a big old 9 foot Cancade sitting in the trees, used to be on the Cockshutt 50. Some day I'd like to modify it to mount on the front end loader of the Massey.

Them case cabs are really quiet the dairy had a
4490 and even with the door open it was quiet
