I was yelled at yesterday.
I am so sorry that I offer my ability to research and answer sometimes
someone asked for a picture of ROPS for 8n
I found hundreds of them on the web the internet with my computer
Having so many times in the past offered my service to direct the inquasition to the information.
I find taking the URL www thing from google images for general use difficult and the address defined on my browser lenthy and particular to me with personal notation. Abreviations not always made. available or without extranious efforts. There were many pictures of the ROPS including the ones mentioned numerous times of affordable user built. Apparently numerous articles with plans. All by standards copyrighted. Most even if taken and reloaded to these servers less than usable to large too small covered with gibberish.

I use a computer apparently a rare thing these days as many just use a phone or something else.

I wish everyone well and with the best feelings to be of service.

But apparently I am not taken well to some circle of friends in close conversation giving insperation to thought and trying to enlist those in close quarters to provide.

Yes my responce was sarcastic. It was deservid that the simple act of using what you have in your hand is replaced to that of exclusive to the group membership of knowlege right wrong or otherwise.

Perhaps I should just research the questions and move forward in my knowlege that yes I know more than you. And leave it at that.
 
Hey,I still have teenage boys at home so sarcasm is the normal around here. I had already done a Google search and seen many pictures of rops for 8n tractors. My question was about real life experiences and if folks were happy with the results of putting such a contraption on a 8n. Also I have seen drawings that couldn't be built, sometimes the engineer at a desk doesn't have the hands on knowledge. I personally wasn't upset with your reply. Life is to short to get upset! I've often thought that your sarcasm is too strong and crosses a line. Apparently I'm not the only one.
 
Well, your last line is in error. You couldn't possibly know more than me since I know everything ..... my dad used to tell me that when I was in high school.
 
First I have had no issue with you on here and don't know what this is all about. But I will say on here and everywhere else I have never seen things so contentious as they are these days. And to boot over some little foolish thing. I try to stay out of most of it but am coming out of a mess from this weekend where tempers flared!
 
Perhaps, since you come across as all knowledgeable concerning computers and Google, you could also learn how to use spell check. I liken your attitude to the individual who cuts through traffic rudely in an automobile, protected by the shell of the car and the ability to speed off, as opposed to cutting line on foot at the grocery. You are safe behind your computer (somewhere), instead of talking to a person face to face. In other words, lighten up and enjoy the web site instead of being obnoxious. People often use this web site because they enjoy conversing with others who share similar interests. Ellis

Guy asks a reasonable question, on topic, on an informational forum...you criticize him for it.

People ask you why you did it...you come back whining that you were treated badly. People are mean to you. Worse yet, you sound like you are half in the bag.

It's a real problem, this whole internet anonymity thing. I don't think you would be quite so sarcastic to people if you were toe to toe with them. Maybe use that as your guideline. Don't say it on the forum if you wouldn't say it to their face. But then we all have our moments. Sometimes, mostly this time of year, I will type in a response...read it...and then say to myself, "he!! no"...and delete it. Sometimes typing it is enough. You don't have to post it.

I often ask question to get a real world, hands on, BTDT response.

Reading an ad for something, of course they aren't going to mention the bad stuff!

Reading reviews, who knows if they are real or put there by the people selling the product.

And then there are mixed reviews, how can one product have both excellent and terrible reviews? Obviously something is wrong there.

At least on here, we somewhat get to know each other, a credibility factor vs. just somebody out in the interweb wasteland!

How I feel about criticism.

When someone takes offense to something that is said, that is their problem. Why people have to respond to the criticism is beyond me. Let it go. Does it make anyone a better person to point out another's mistake?
Know who you are and own it. Let everything else go.

After all, we are entitled to our opinions.
 
I used to tell people that between my sister and me we knew everything. If someone asked me something I couldn't answer, I'd tell them that's one of the things she knew.

Some of the comments you post look like poorly translated from Chinese. Reading this latest post starts out OK, but turns into near gibberish towards the end.

Your sarcasm gets a bit heavy at times. That is not well received here. A bit of light sarcasm with a bit of humor added is better. Sometimes it is hard to tell if you are kidding or just being a jerk.

Most of the time I pass over your posts because they are usually difficult to interpret. You run on and on using words and phrases that are not commonly used in conversation. This makes it hard to understand what you are trying to say.

Also, if you think that you are smarter than the rest of us, it shows in your attitude.
 
Bob: Interesting little article but I think she is guilty of gross exaggeration with regards to how people perceive those who say sorry. For the most part, I think it's pretty
much ignored to be honest. There's always some academic making a mountain out of a mole hill, I think that's the expression. Sorry, but that's my opinion on the matter .... ha !!!

All jokes aside i would be happy to do the same thing for anyone here. I have learned so much on this site actually all kinds of stuff not just Tractors. I read alot and comment some. but mainly just read. I am on here off and on about every evening at some point just reading around. And to be perfectly honest i have thought when i have read stuff well why did they just google that themselves. But after thinking that Google dont give you that hands on advice that someone can just tell you. Thats the priceless information that i read on here and i think its great.
 
Do you have thick skin? How can you hear someone yell at you? Are there two of you? How is Mutt? How is Jeff? Is your google better than most? Is herky jerky disjointed posts your style? Am I so sorry in advance?
 
I?ve often been amazed at the many different ages, and backgrounds, and such that we all come together, faceless, on the internet.

Some are so serious, some are never ever serious, some folk do not have a funny bone or understand even basic humor, others couldn?t be serious in the middle of a fire life is only one liner jabs.

Such a broad range of personalities.

Makes it fun, but it also takes a little calming down from time to time.

We just ain?t all on the same page, but we all mean well most of the time.
