gear shifter start

I bought this tractor from a guy who has totally messed this tractor up , I bought a starter switch using the shifter to start it like it is suppose to . I took the stitch out and there is no leaver to push the button to start I don't know what to look for or what is connected to make it work . what ever help I Thank You !!

It may have ejected the warp core. I assume that you are working on a standard Star Fleet star ship, with warp drive.

Ferguson TE/TO series? The linkages wore out on some.
Others were removed because the owner thought they were a pain.
Pretty easy to hit the starter when you don't mean to.
Used parts are available, not sure about new parts without model.

More likely a problem with the dilithium crystals. (unless it's an excelsior class, of course.)

What make/model?

Ferguson TO series has a gear shift start. (Which I like a lot.)

If that is what you are working with then check the Ferguson forum.

But your tractor is a different make/model than this will be of no use to you at all.
