Deere did their "patio" series lawn garden tractors back in late 60s early 70s. White did their custom color tractors in late 80s(?). Just seems people who are brand loyal demand a certain color on their equipment.

I almost bought a New Holland 8 years ago just because it was blue. New Holland chose the perfect shade of blue in my narrow minded opinion. The Deere dealer was closer and has better service so as a result I have to look at a green hood when I'm in the field.

Ya,I think Sherry Schaefer ended up testifying in court in that case,that Deere wasn't the only company ever to paint their tractors green and yellow.

We've toured the Hesston factory in Hesston Kansas several times, and they'll paint one of their big huge combines any color you want, black, American flag, anything, for a slight extra charge of course. Dunno about green/yellow, maybe not.

When we sold the ranch in Nevada, the guy that bought it had a Caterpillar dealership in
Salt Lake He ordered a full line of John Deere equipment all painted Caterpillar Yellow!

Fixerupper My buddy that sells for cnh says the blue tractors have a lower resale value than the red tractors even though they?re almost identical except paint he says a blue on is 15 to 20% cheaper every time

Fendt tractors years ago were green and yellow . But the green and yelllow paint scheme is a trade mark of John Deere

This is not April fools. When I had service training with CNH they would show us these tractors. Big time John Deere guy wanted a quad but didn?t want it red. Had a local body shop repaint it right from the dealer. They talked about a guy in Washington that would repaint his 4wd tractors gold after he got them from the dealer. That guy would order 4 at a time!
