That's 45 years (I remembered to include leap years) that Crystal and I have been sharing everything we've got. Started out with nothing and have most of it left. Finished up the chores this morning and going to go out for breakfast. Couldn't ask for anything more. Arvin

ABD ..... I hope you didn't count the year 2000 as a leap year ..... because it wasn't. Every century, the leap year skips for another four years. So 1996 counted and then the next one was 2004. Tell me you knew this when you counted. It's another time correction in the Earth's orbit around the sun. If we didn't have that fix, eventually (not sure how long it would take) our (in the northern hemisphere) warm weather months would be in December, etc.

CH, You got me on that one. I just used 11 days without thinking about the century correction. We will have to make it to tomorrow to match my claim. I think we will make it. :)

So CH, does that mean that my Grandson who was born on 29-February-2000 was not a leap year baby? Funny his birthday only comes around every 4 years. There were 29 days on the calendar for Feb 2000. It was a "fake" leap year? Guess I am not understanding the correction factor every 100 years. Explain further please. gobble

Every calender for 2000 I looked at had 29 days in February.

Good for you--My bride Jeanine and I have also been married 45 years today--Arvin-God bless you and Crystal-Many more---Tee and Jeanine

Congratulations to you Tee and Jeanine. Must have been a good day to tie the knot. Hope it's been as good for you as it has for us. We had the song "To God be the glory" sung at our wedding and that has truly been the story of our life.

I think it is every fourth turn of the century that a leap year gets skipped. Could 2000 have been a special correction year where it was not skipped ?

Not only just married but still married! 48 years next month, whoops, it's not April yet! 48 in May!

Arvin-if you are ever in Maynard stop in---Tee
