12 sow john blue andhydress aplacator just come on craigs list this afternoon about 1:00 called got no answer left a message to call me back,6:50 just got in from chorin both farms called again and no answer..why would you have something for sale and not carry your cell phone with you. like to come and see this and buy it but they halve to answer me first..... makes me mad OK Iam done!!

I've been trying to buy a Brillion Packer from a guy off Craigslist for about a week now. Now I know why his ad has been up so long. I've decided he couldn't give it to me now, to heck with him.

Only about 4 people have my cell number and that's 2 too many,plus I can't hear it ring anyway most times.I'll put my house phone in an ad and if I'm not there I have voice mail.

A lot of people do NOT have cell phones, only land lines and may not even have an answering machine or if they do you do not hang on long enough for it to pickup. Mine takes 8 rings before it will pickup.

You must be new to "craigs" and/or trying to apply logic to a situation that defies logic.

I don't do bookface, but the wife does, and she's trying to find a replacement college car for our son who had his run over.

Doesn't seem to be any more logic or common sense there.either.

You can adjust the number of rings before pickup. I'd be surprised if anyone waited out 8 rings- I know I wouldn't. 4 is about the max.

Me and a friend were just having this conversation today. About how everyone assumes everyone else is up on and obsessed with technology. Smart phones, Facebook etc.
If I'm outside working more often then not I'll leave my cell phone in the house.
I'll call you back if it's important. If your that self important that demands instant attention I'd just assume not deal with you anyway.

Anybody that wants to talk with me will wait. It cuts down on crank calls being recorded. And it took that long to get up, walk across the house and pickup. When you are 50 feet from phone and trouble walking it takes a while to do it. We cannot all be right next to the phone. And I could only have an extra phone on line just for the ring and the number to come up. You cannot have a captioning phone that I have in each room, would not work even if you could get that many
