Hercules Model L engine starter

I have a Hercules Model L engine from the mid -1920's, serial # 70002 and am looking for a starter for it. It is a 3 bolt pattern with 5 inches from bolt to bolt. Engine size 4.5 X 5.75

Do you have the original starter?

If so it could probably be repaired.

If there is a starter/alt/gen shop near by, let them take a look at it.

If you don't have a starter, take the engine to them, maybe they will recognize it. Sometimes they have unclaimed starters they can sell, or build something from the bone pile.
