Grain bin camera

Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone on this forum has heard of or has a camera grain bin monitoring system that would work mounted inside a grain bin with stirators running? Can’t seem to find anything online that would work inside a bin, connected to my IPhone! Seems like a great way to monitor what is happening in the bin while at home! I have a binsite located abo three miles away,so is difficult to monitor all the time.Appreciate any and all of your responses! Thanks in advance.

(quoted from post at 16:08:51 03/19/19) Aren't there trail cameras which are capable of sending a picture?
think a trail camera would work fine, thanks for the suggestion!!

I would think that it would take a fairly expensive camera to stand up to the high moisture environment. Maybe some sort of security camera.

If you have line of site to the bin site you could put a couple of these in play one as an access point and one as a client. you can extend your wired network just like it was wired.
you could then attach a wireless router and have wifi at the bin site. Otherwise you can connect anything to the ethernet port (camera, router, switch, ect. and it will appear like it is on your home network.
I used them over a short distance to attach 4 cameras at my shop to my home wired (PoE) security system. Much easier than burying cable. Just had to attach a PoE switch to the client side ethernet port and
plug in the cameras.
TP Link 300Mbps dual polarized directional

(quoted from post at 11:52:35 03/20/19) the antenna system I mentioned is good for about 9 miles but does require line of sight and possibly some height clearance.

Does it have to be direct line of sight meaning that there cannot be any obstruction blocking the signal?

(quoted from post at 20:37:42 03/21/19) Some upper branches of trees MIGHT be ok but anything more solid would probably block the signal too much.

How would this work for a camera?

that may work at the bin but i have my doubts as to the range even from the top of the bin to the ground. A wired backup camera and monitor would probably work better but then you would have to come up with
an enclosure for the monitor as it would be designed to mount in the cab (and obviously would be limited to on site monitoring).
If you look for other cameras look for IP66 rating or above, the higher the better.
