Farmhand cylinder rebuild question

I have a Farmhand F228 loader with a leaking lift cylinder and I am having trouble getting it apart. I have removed the cylinder and I have taken the 4 1/2 inch bolts (which screw vertically into the end collar) off the end of the tube but I can't seem to get it apart. I have rebuilt the other types of cylinders which have the long bolts that run horizontal to the cylinder. But I don't know how to get this one apart. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it like this ?

I have tried to put a pipe wrench on the end cap of the cylinder and I can't get it to turn or move. The next thing I was going to try was to heat the outer collar and try to take it apart that way. I just wanted to know if the end cap of the cylinder is press fit or threaded in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where are you getting the repair kit from? Someone must have an exploded view of this thing. What I'm getting at is it would be helpful to see what the gland looks like. Did you try for any online parts books? Can you at least post a picture of how far you have it apart?

There are quite a few demonstrations of cylinder disassembly on youtube. Can't say that I have seen one exactly like yours, but I haven't looked for it either. There may be one out there that would help you.

I just talked to a Farmhand dealer and he said,"Did you take out the fitting?" Apparently the fitting is threaded into the gland THROUGH the tube, so nothing else will happen unless the fitting is removed. North Central Ag says the kit is $125. Good luck.

Thank you everyone for your help! It was the fitting for the hydraulic hose holding it in. I took the fitting out and it came right out. It was not threaded. Thank you again!
