Lott elevator auction

Seems to have gone well for the seller. I personally was watching the fertilizer spreaders. I had a theory that those people who rented those every year would be in a near panic to get one as there is no other source that I am aware of to rent one here locally. I had seen a Wilmar with holes in the body, but usable, sell for $850 a couple years ago. Today a unit listed as "parts" sold for $1950. In fairness, I think it could be welded back together but it had rust thru in the frame. The next best Wilmar was usable with some surface rust sold for $3190. I had rented that one many times. Two Newtons sold for $4730 and $4400. They were pretty nice. All of these were rental units with all that implies. Cleaned sporadically and stored outside. I did not buy any of them as I no longer have a need. I bought a few small odds and ends and a pallet of feed. Anyone else in on the auction?

Didn't buy anything......put a couple of bids on that pallet of Willmar spreader parts, but there were so many parts that I didn't need that I didn't go very high.....but I think it was a good deal if you had use for that many parts....

I looked at it some and decided I didn't find anything to drive that far for. This time of year spreaders tend to go high as everybody wants one now.
I think I am going to the Humm farm sale in Alma,St. Louis area Thursday. I don't like that buyers premium Sheridan has. I don't like the principal of it.
Sykora has some good sales coming up.
