That's a "high crop" or "cane" tractor....notice the longer front spindles that keep the tractor level with the big rear tires.
Kinda rare and definitely more collectible than your average D-17.
 
those rear wheels sure look like they might have come off a massy Ferguson high arch 65. just saying. john
 
Hi, I am very fond of that tractor however when my dad was
farming , over the years we had 8N, 9N, Ferguson teo20 Jubilee,
MF 35 and MF 35 D, and David Brown 3G. If I remember right we
had a Fordson Major for a brief time. When I was 15, I had a
Farmall cub. I cut a lot of hay with it and side mount sickle
mower. I loved it. I couldn't wait to get going in the morning.
