I remember looking through the Sears catalog in the mid/late 1950s when one of my responsibilities was hoeing rows of tomatoes.

Several times I showed the David Bradley garden tractors to my Father, but could not talk him into buying one.

Nice unit and hope it goes to a good home. But in my neck of the woods you would see no where near $1200 for it.

Dean mid 50s we had the top of the line DB , looked to be a bit smaller than this unit. I would run it two hours in the garden after school, next day would be so sore right between the shoulders. Wrestling that thing was good exercise. I have a KUBOTA walk behind 70s tiller that when you get to the end you squeeze lever and it clutches a wheel makes turning easy. That is what these garden tractors needed. But other side is I did not have to go catch a mule, hitch him up and wrestle a plow so little DB was better in some way.

Had a walk behind Bolens garden tractor with a clutch for each wheel, get to the end of the row release the clutch on the side you wanted to turn toward and it would spin around and be ready for the next row.
