I talked to you a while back about my Kubota b8200 not charging. After
we talked I went through the wiring again and found a bad wire going to
one of the fuses behind the panel near the clutch pedal. I am just working
on it again. I had some other more important things to take care of. I
also removed the galvanized bracket near the seat springs and cleaned up
all the mating surfaces so I am sure I have a good ground. Is there
another place the electrical system grounds to the frame ? I haven't run
across it yet. I'm just trying to eliminate simple fixes before I replace
the regulator and that's not it. Thank you for your help !

No that is the battery to chassis ground . Some times the little end on the cable will not be connecting to the actual wire part of the battery cable , make sure you have continuity in both cables . Send me an e mail , I may can come up with a used regulator for you to try.

So there is no other ground for the electrical system ? And by continuity do you mean from one end of the battery ground cable to the other end ? I still am having difficulty with e mail, but I still have your phone number. I didn't want to call on a Sunday.

Yes that is the only ground, and yes check cables end to end. I will be where I can get the phone tomorrow most of the day.

I started checking for power in different places. Have power off both wires off the dynamo. Went to plug which attaches to the regulator. It's the six flat style. Has power only on 2 of the terminals. I thought it should be 3 of the 6. Power on 3 uppers and nothing on the lowers until it went through the regulator. I thought I had a handle on this but now I'm pretty lost. I've converted tractors to 12 volt, and have done a bunch of custom wiring on pullers, but this has me stumped. I would try to bypass the regulator to see if that's the problem, but not sure how to so I don't fry something else. Hopefully I can call tomorrow after work and you can give some insight into this. If I can't figure it out I will just keep doing the same. A good battery and keep it on a trickle charger in between uses. I really would like it to be right though !
