I bought this 1951 TO-20 Harry Ferguson about 2 1/2 months ago trying to put it together there was no ignition and I'm not sure which wire goes where and the person who owned it took the oil filter out and threw away I guess there isn't any thing left, what ever help I can get I Thank you very much !!

That tractor may have a Continental engine or it may have Standard engine. The Standard oil filter canister is a long canister mounted below the distributor on an angle. They use the same cartridge and guts as a TR3 and TR4 . Don't know where on the Continental.

Oil filter is accesed up thru the round plate in the bottom of the oil pan. This site sells the filters. You need a manual. Is has a wiring diagram. You might be able to find the diagram in archives on this site or Ferguson Enthusiasts site,

As for the ignition, I was trying to find a good diagram and couldn't, but...

If everything is still original, the ignition switch only has 2 terminals, a simple on-off switch.

One side (doesn't matter which) has 2 wires, one from the amp meter, the other feeds the light circuit. Those 2 wires go on one side of the switch.

The other side is a single wire that goes to the ignition coil.

It is common for those to have been modified from original. If it has an alternator, or a starter solenoid, it is not original.

Still it is a simple wiring job, don't let it intimidate you. With a little more information we can walk you through it.
