Yup, several. F.O.S. Fundamentals of Machine Operation. I got mine in the early '80's at college.

I got alot of fos manuals from my collage days in the deere program.

The JD FOS books I have were from Ivy Tech, in 1973.

Dieseltech I like the older ones better than the newer editions just because of the information that they conatin has more to do with the older stuff

Seems like a lot of the ag colleges use thr Deere textbooks. They?re pretty good books not brand specific in the information they contain

I have mine from my apprenticeship days back in 1979 for farm equipment mechanic at
Kemptville college in Ontario. We still used them when I worked at the collegee (under the University of Guelph) in 2016 teaching the ag and heavy technician apprenticeship course at the same college until it was shut down May of 2016

larryh I have a few of the old style ones but not many .did Deere give out the operation care and repair of farm machinery books free?
