Case 1845C problem

The bucket curls back very slow and the hand control won't go into the float position, it will move a little faster if I run the boom. The bucket hand control is not in the normal position, but if I raise the safety bar I can get it go to it's normal position. All the linkage seems to be fine. Everything else works as it should. I would appreciate any advice before I go any further. Thanks

First check to make sure your auxiliary valve is in the neutral position the other problem with the float could be that you're balls in the end of the hydraulic control valve are seized up that was a problem with those you have to take the end spool cap off and there was a kit for them

I tried to make sure auxiliary valve was in the neutral position, engine didn't seem to have a load on it. I will check it again to be sure. I will also check about the kit. Thank you.

I have seen them at the capped end get debris/crud/rust in them and on the detente for the float circuit and cause this conditions, clean them up, lube the detente ball and you should be good to go

Can that be done without removing the whole valve body? I have ordered a service and parts manual but, it won't be here until late next week. Thanks.
