Bondi Bay, part of Sydney. Cooler at about 72 F overcast. This is a large beach facing the Pacific still within Sydney. It was not busy, this being the start of the off season, but some were still surfing. Beach is just over half mile long and several hundred yards deep, beautiful clean sand. Daughter says it's wall to wall people in the summer. A few ladies displaying their assets but I count get a picture cause my wife blocked the view......

Off to the Blue Mountains tomorrow.

Just push your wife out of the way, how do we know if it's a good place to visit without proper pics? Great pics, I want to go there some day too.

Australia is one country I'd love to visit but I think the Western side would be where I'd like to visit the most. Are you going to be anywhere over there where they have those Truck Trains
that cross the Outback?

That looks like a nice place to pull up a beach chair and umbrella and look at tools & tractors for sale online!

Unbelievable the difference in trucking there from our trucks here in the states. I talked to some of the train ( three and four trailers) drivers. High horsepower units built for subpar roads.

Saw an article on TV about the 500 mile trains across that terrain. Seems it's very boring for the engineer so the engine designer put a kill switch with a 1 (as I recall) minute timer. It's located high enough above the seat that the engineer has to get out of his seat, rise up about a foot and "smack" it. If he doesn't do it within the allocated time, the train stops. Pretty neat. The video showed him doing just that as he was being interviewed for the article.

Beautiful! Really nothing better than a beach and a body of water... even a corn field cannot beat that.

Yeah, we walked over the pedestrian lane. For a hundred bucks you can snap onto a safety cable and walk over the top of the bridge.....another couple hundred feet higher...no dang way!
