John Deere 60 tractor

Got the chance to buy a John Deere 60 with a 45 loader on it for $1300 it ran but sit in the shed to long now the gas is bad it's loose does that seem like a decent price? Thanks Howard

It probably wouldn't take a lot to get it running. Doesn't seem like too bad of a price. You know what the tires and overall condition is--we don't. So I'd say whatever you're comfortable with. If I was looking for one I might consider it, depending on the variables listed above.

like mentioned, if it's got decent tires and is straight that's not a bad price for around here.

I wouldn?t think twice about it, if it was near me it would already be sitting in one of my barns, go get it asap...

My 60 sat outside (exhaust covered) in a dry climate for 9 years. Took some fiddling with the points, new battery and gas. Drove it into the van that my pal had. Downside was we had to trim 6" off each axel to get it in (we ran out of acetylene just at the end of the 2nd cut). This was after shutting down my farm and storing it at a friends place. Now lives in a heated shop.

I presume that's the high model or row crop your talking about, as the standard low seat is worth more.

I just bought it I think your all right running it's probably worth $2000 but it doesn't have power steering but does have live PTO really good tire's all round thanks Howard
