If you have never seen Living History farms , you need it on the bucket list. Has been many years for me, but want to experience it again.

I did not attend but became good friends with one of the farmer/promoters of the event later on in life. This group put on a show there for several years before purchasing the property now known as Hawkeye Antique Acres and starting their own swap meet and summer show there with cooperation of the Central Iowa Gas Engine and Tractor group.

Sadly Hawkeye Antique acres is no longer open. I went to the Central Iowa tractor show in Waukee last summer and not 1 tractor showed up. Its very disappointing to see this, many years ago Hawkeye Antique Acres had one of the best shows in the country.

Did anyone on here attend this?
