mounting emblems to a plaque

I've come across some emblems I want to mount to a display plaque as a graduation gift to my niece. I'm looking for ideas on how to mount them. I don't want to modify the emblems and keep them removable if possible. Several have these special nuts to hold them but are missing some. What are they called so I can buy some.

From what I see, ?emblem push clip? is the name.

For mounting, the question is, where they all designed for close to the same dimension metal? If so, then just get a price of material that thickness and in a shape you like, drill it out, attach emblems, then get another price of material that is thicker than the most protruding one-cut or drill it so that the backs remain original, but don?t stick out. Can make this the same size as the first piece or larger to be a bit frame/border like.

The other thing, are these from family vehicles you no longer have?
If yes, write or type up something telling as much of the history as you know.
If no, but you do know something about the vehicles you got them from, that might be worth writing down.
Most likely just affix this to the back.

If you just use some silicone in the holes just before you push them in the pins will stay with the silicone and are still removeable by pushing the pins out a little at a time.

For the flat emblems go to your local auto parts store and buy some trim tape. It is a double faced foam tape that will pretty much never come off, You can remove it with a little heat and a putty knife. If they are pretty flat just try some regular double faced tape.
