I am nearing completion of my Case 8358 5 bottom 18" hydraulic reset plow, patterned from the real one that I pull with my 1969 931.
I paint the larger parts with a rattle can, and the wife dous all the detail painting with a brush. I am no longer steady enough to do detailed painting. It took a while to get to this point, but I am happy with it.

No, I have started a 50's CASE model S-139 transport disc to put behind my 1962 CASE 930 long nose. That I got finished other than decals, a week back.

The bottoms were cut from 2" lengths of 1" copper pipe. I split the lengths in half lengthwise and fashioned the shape of the bottoms. I did the cutting with a Dremal and cut off wheels, and hand files to detail them.

Hello Loren & Wife
I really enjoy your making farm equipment in scale , You & your wife make quite a team . I hope that you both have good health & keep making your toys . Another thing there not all dirty & greasy easy to work on . I also enjoyed the Equipment that you made for getting your winter fire wood , Will you ever start making maple syrup again or are you like
me getting too old for that much work . Another thing you can stay warm in your shop while making them , drink tea or coffee. AzPeapicker

Been waiting to see the mini version of this one that you were plowing with, nice attention to detail on both the tractor and plow.
Both look great, thanks for posting the latest on them.

That plow is so fabulous. I cannot believe how nice and real it looks. I like plows so that is pretty special to me.

I guess I lost track, did you make the tractor also or was that an existing tractor that you added a cab to.

Very nice, I like that the missus works with you. Surprised Larry didn't call you The Toy Case Builder KING.

Case 930's were strong runners. The 401 cu.in. engine had all kinds of low end torque. I overhauled this one 2 winters back and it now has 1/8" over bore pistons and sleeves and is a 426 cu.in, and the pump has been tweeked. It pulls very well in 4th gear about 5mph.

The tractor is made from an old Ertel 930 body. I built a new more realistic adjustable front axle, Cut the rear of the chassis off and built a realistic rear end with 3pt hitch and pto. The cab is scratch built and highly detailed inside with all the levers and custom seat. I need to build a set of front fenders for it so that it looks like my real one.

Loren what a great picture. Yep I did notice the doors are closed. Must have been cold that day ? LOL . The Old Scovy.

I've never commented on your minis, but you really have a talent and a lot of patience ! Nice work both real and mini !
