Does anybody have one of these air grease guns? I
don?t want a battery one they are to slow I?d Rather
pump it by hand than use a battery power one

I used to work for a farmer in our village, driving a truck. I remember watching him grease the combine 1 year, when he
finished he put the grease gun on a wall by the diesel tank. It was in plain view and he said " I will put that away
later". Three years later, it was still there.

I've never had an air powered grease gun but have had a couple battery powered ones. I didn't notice them being slow. If anything for precise places they are to fast. I would use the hand pump gun because it was slower. What brands of battery powered did you try? First one I tried was a really cheap thing from Orschelns. It was complete junk and turned me off them until I used my uncle's Lincoln. It was much better so one day I was picking up parts and picked up a Jd gun. It was pretty nice until the batteries died. Local jd told me they couldn't get the batteries any more. My family bought me a Dewalt grease gun for Christmas before I had a chance to find batteries for the jd. I'm not sure about the Dewalt yet. It comes with a shoulder strap to help carry it and you need it. Thing feels like it weighs 50 pounds. I actually prefer the jd but am stuck using the Dewalt.

My grease gun will last until I am in the worst possible place (usually when I get down and crawl under a machine). That is when mine runs out. Does this quite often.

I find that I start with the full gun underneath then if it gets empty I can just go fill it again. We use bulk grease. Been using it for over 50 years. I do also have a tube gun for them. I like the long hose we have on the lever gun. Works good for those hard to reach places. The hose is about 3 feet long.

I'm with macec3(tex). Mine would always run out when I was between the two differentials.

I've got a simple air one, from the days before the cordless ones. It works fine. Much easier when you need to hold the hose.

I've also used electric ones that were pretty good. Of the ones I've used, Alemite were the best. That said, I have the Milwaukee one on my wish list.

My neighbor and I both have the Milwaukee 12 volt and like them I"d like to upgrade to the 18 volt more because then it uses the same batteries as my drill and impact wrench and the 18 has a 2 speed a fast and a slow high pressure

You should see how nice the 18 volt Milwaukee two speed grease gun works. Have one at work. If you hold the trigger down I bet ya that tube would be empty in maybe 2 or 2 1/2 minutes.

We have a couple of Milwaukee grease guns in the trucks you should check into those . They pump really fast and you also set the speed. Really nice grease guns

Anyone that has ever greased a New Holland 77T baler knows where the grease gun will run out. It always runs empty while you are laying under the pickup greasing the fittings on it.
