Mobil Delvac Rebate

Mobil Delvac oil has some rebates going on.

Rural King is advertising $6.99/ gallon after rebate, limit 5 1-gallon jugs. Ought to change the oil in a tractor or two.

Based on past experience, it'll take a couple months to get your rebate. I do them online so I can keep track.

I never buy anything with a rebate because It either never comes or they spell my name wrong so I can?t cash it anyway

I usually buy it in a 5 gallon pail, don't remember the final price, but it's dirt cheap. I do my rebates online and never have a problem getting and cashing them.

I liked the way they did the rebate last year.

Did everything online, including scanning my receipt and submitting it with their form. Used an email address I reserve for this kind of stuff. And they don't have to decipher my handwriting.

Then they emailed me a "check"...which I deposited to my account via smartphone. I could have requested a mailed check, they claimed this would be faster. Still took them 2 months, though.

We buy in the barrel and never see a rebate for oil. Though we don't buy the popular brands. I do get a discount at certain times of the year for the oil purchase. This is from the jobber.

Delvac rebate was better last summer. $35.00 per 5 gallon pail up to a maximum of (IIRC) 5 pails.

They do keep track so you don't submit more than the limit. Has been 3 5 gal pails max, but last year it was 6.Went to farm and fleet and only bought 3. Got home and thought that was dumb, so went back a couple weeks later and bought 3 more. sent the rebates in a couple weeks apart. The rebate checks came on the same day in separate envelopes but they had sequential numbers.

When I first introduced myself to the Cummins Diesel engine, I too had the problem with adding the G that didn't belong. Reason being I had never heard of the word without the G.....but it's well ingrained now. Adding the G was grammatically correct if talking about somebody advancing toward you and that had been my total association.

fred That does sound a lot better way to do it that?s for sure don?t have to worry about hand writing and whether somebody would be able to read it or not
