Pasquali tractor.

Anyone out there have any experience with a Pasquali 997 tractor?
Cute little 4 X 4.
There's one for sale near me. Supposed to include a loader and
few extra pieces, what ever that means. I hope to see it tomorrow.

Put a lot of hours on a 988. The are a good little real tractor. A bit uncomfortable for a big guy to operate. Parts can be an issue these days.

Not sure I would want to use one with a loader, between the shift pattern and being nose heavy. Probably depends what your expectations are.

I see. thanks. Makes sense.
I would like it because it's different.
I think (heavy on the think!!) it might be a nice complement
to my Kubota B7510. Sometimes it's nice to have two about the same size.
Blade on one, ripper on other, Load a wagon with one, pull wagon with other, etc.
I also belong to an old tractor club. Would be fun to show off.

I've been helping a friend rework a 997. Italian tractor part in Canada can get parts. My friend biggest compliant is three gear shift levers never know what gear your in. where is the tractor located.I may be interested

Any idea what they're worth??
This one seems reasonable, I think.
I'll let you know after I see it.
If I decide not to get it, I'll tell you where it is!!LOL

Another question, do they have a remote hydraulic set up?
I'm kinda assuming they do as this one is supposed to
have a loader for/on it.

I've got a 986. Lotta power for such a little machine. I can bury that single tooth ripper until the 3 point arms are dragging and just walk away with it. It can be a bit of a pain to remember what gear you're in, plus there's a neutral between every gear both on the trans and on the rear end.

Neighbor has 3 of 'em, one with a loader, one with a backhoe, one nekkid.

The place in Canada is about the only place I've found parts for mine.

I had a 986, purchased new from the last dealer that still had them in the USA. It's now gone. Sure do miss it!

If you get yours, send me an email and I'll email you a PDF copy of the manuals I have.

I had no problems with the neutral between each gear. Problems I had were with a lousy electrical system and the clutch cable that kept wearing out, plus not the best brakes -- not that I ever needed them.

FEL on these is a bit iffy. Would need to have ballast on the 3-pt. Being articulated, every time you turn the tractor with a loaded bucket, you lose a portion of the ballast from the rear of tractor. Dang hard to get these things stuck, also!

My email is open in Modern View. Too far away for me to be interested, but I'd sure like to get my hands on one again!!

Good luck!

Friend had a 45hp 990 something with loader. Different but good unit had unique issues. Others spoke on the parts issues. Around me a couple were priced at 5000 these were the 45hp 997?

Thanks, everyone for all your replies. Great information.
I'll know more after I look at it.

We have had two 997’s for over ten years. They have been very good albeit “different” tractors.
They are very powerful and although a bit odd very well built.
My neighbor at first seeing it said “ Looks to be the kind of tractor that will take you places you shouldn’t go.”
The only reliable place in North America to get parts is "Italian tractor parts" in Canada. Good folks to work with. They have all the manuals you could hope for on their site.
