Diesel Fuel Storage

When storing off road premium diesel fuel in above ground tank, is it best to buy summer blend or winter blend? Most of my fuel use is in the summer, and oftentimes I don't use it all.

As long as your summer blend is not bio diesel, continue to buy summer blend and what you have left over can be treated with some kerosene and Howes or Power Service for winter use. If it is bio diesel,try to completely empty the tank and fill with enough winter blend to get you through the winter

Guess I don?t understand why biodiesel is so bad. I try to run it in my semi when I can find it. Of coarse I run about double the amount of Howes it calls for.
