A tractor with a cab and boy wasn?t that nice to
operate for a change finally found the straw stack
remind me to never put straw here ever again!
Then I cut a dike to slow the drifts

I was hauling hay in really cold weather a few years ago, friend of mine a few miles away sent his hired man up to my place with one of his JD 4WD tractors and told me the boss was tired of seeing me freeze to use his tractor til I got all the hay hauled. It was a nice rig.

I had a 6400 Deere with cab as my loader tractor for years. Nearly wore it out. Then my dealer got in a 4 year old 6415, no cab, with only 45 hours on it, and he made me a heck of a deal on it. I like the open air and better visibility most of the year. But I question my intellect this time of year.

SV did you hear about the 18 year old kid who made 35,000 dollars in four days?He was visiting from Idaho when the snowstorm hit Seattle the other day.He advertised his snowplow for hire on Craigslist. He was getting calls non stop to plow roads, driveways and sidewalks. When asked what he was going to do with the money he said College and 10 percent to his church.Great to see capitalism alive and well in America

SV, I froze my rear off for years moving snow with a Super M. Bought a 4010D, bought a cheap year round cab for it. Even without a heater, it is amazing how just keeping the wind off of you keeps you warmer. Would love to someday own one like what you borrowed.

That looks like a nice machine. I'd love to have something like that. I don't have any neighbors that would loan out a tractor for my little operation.

Stephen I don?t think we got ten flakes last year either and almost nothing through 2018 everything has came in January and February 19

Kansas4010 This is my cousins tractor I needed a tractor with a loader on to dig through the hard pack I was hoping I could clean out the horse corral but the tractor had to long of rear axles to get through the gate

Mike I?m kicking around the idea of buying a couple of and putting heaters in them and mounting the cab on rubber and sealing all the holes and trying to get the sound level down as low as possible

pms I need to be charging more money I guess this is the first year I?ve plowed snow for hire so I?ll have to crunch some numbers when I get a minute but 35,000 wil be way more than I make this winter

Mike M That?s a nice blower I wish it was a lot closer but I?m going to have to wait a couple years before I buy a snow blower unless a deal like that comes up closer to home . If I have to get one from that far away it would add another thousand bucks to the cost but that would still be a pretty good price on that unit
