The jury is still out regarding Williamson's injury but I'll be first to make the following prediction:

If Williamsons injury is career ending or even significantly damages his professional career, the manufacturer of the shoe will be sued for $$$$$$$$$.

It's the world we live in.

I'm not a Duke fan but hope he's OK and wish he could have played it would have been a lot better game.He does put a lot of pressure on a shoe at 285 and as quick as he can move.

I'm NOT a fan of Nike anyway after their Kapernack (spelling??) commercials so if they loose big I wont fret over it one bit.

Too bad and I hope he gets through this OK. Unfortunately a lot of the focus seems to be on the legal issue of his shoe(s) not doing the job and less concern about his injury. I guess that's the world we live in today.

John T. Nike knows who their customer base are and target advertising toward that base. They could care less about how people feel that do not fit into that base.

Just like a tractor dealer could care less how high rise city person feels about their advertising.

I hope the young may heals up with zero after effects, but great to see a Nike fall on it's face, or should I say, take a knee.

Would not surprise me if we will find out that most teams soak the shoes in various chemical concoctions to enhance performance.
Making them as grippy as possible, etc.

Some chemicals being to aggressive for the glue used.

I heard something about the shoe exploding i saw what happen i never saw a his shoe explode so what actually happen if you no.
